Remember Drive-In Worship is at 10 am

Sunday is the 6th Sunday after Pentecost.  Pentecost is considered the time of “Ordinary.”  While the church season differs from what is going on in the world, we can take heart and celebrate the ordinary.  Finding God in the little things can help change our focus from the world and its troubles and look with joy to what God is and can do.  Sunday, Brother Michael will preach from Matthew 13: 1-23.  The Sermon is titled “The Careless Farmer.”  We will have special music from Randy Smoak.  Join us on Sunday and please invite others to “Drive-In” and attend our service.   The order of worship is attached, click on the link above.  See you on Sunday at 10 am!

Remember: Worship is on Sunday at 10 am.  We know it is tempting to park closely and see each other, but please remember we need to follow the guidelines that were set for us:  1) Park at least 6 feet from the car next to you. 2) Please stay in your car the whole time. Windows down if fine, but we must stay in our cars. 5) There will be no receptacle for the offering.  It can be placed in the mailbox, but please remain in your car if possible.  6) The building will not be open, so there will NOT be restrooms available.

Summer is here!  Yes, that comes with HOT temperatures, but it also comes with singing birds, butterflies, flowers, and fresh garden produce.  Watching the breeze blow through the trees, seeing children /grandchildren playing outside, spending time with family are all wonderful things that usually happen in the summer.  Not all of these may be possible, but we can thank God for the little things we do have and the beauty He gives us in this season.  We also want to thank God for our fathers.  Fathers are such a special and important part of the family – so thank you for all that you do!!
This Sunday Brother Michael will give the message on Psalm 139 titled “There Is No Escape.”  We will have special music from Nate Dickey.  Join us on Sunday and please invite others to “Drive-In” and attend our service.   The order of worship is attached, click on the link above.  See you on Sunday at 11 am!

I am frustrated!  I hear that often now with all that is going on.  When, why not, how come? These words are shared with others.  It is normal to feel frustrated and tired of waiting for things to be “normal.”  Acknowledge your feelings and pray about them.  God’s people wandered around in the desert and wondered the same things.  They were frustrated also.  We are going on 4 months, yet they wandered around for 40 years.  Instead of focusing on the when, why not and how come, find good things to focus on.  Small things that will lift you up.  Turn to prayer and the word of God, drawing closer to our savior during this extended time.  This Sunday Brother Michael will give the message on Psalm 8 titled “‘Psalmtimes’ You Just Have to Say ‘WOW!'”  We will have special music from our own Ralph Long.  Join us on Sunday and please invite others to “Drive Up” and attend our service.   The order of worship is attached, click on the link above.  See you on Sunday at 11 am!
