Prayer Shawl Ministries

Several ladies in the church work year-round to create shawls for those who are sick or have need of a shawl.  The prayer shawls are given by members of the church and the pastor as needed.  If you would like more information about this ministry, please contact Donna Leach, through the church office (912-826-5796).

If you would like to make a donation to this ministry, please contact the church office at the number listed above.  You can also make a donation on Sunday by dropping your donation in the offering plate.  Please mark your donation “Prayer Shawl.”

Piece Makers

The Piece-Makers are a group whose love of sewing and quilting has grown into a ministry that creates quilts for organizations and individuals for whom the warmth and comfort of a quilt can bring comfort in a time of illness or stress.  They have sewn quilts to be given to a Hospice group in Savannah to comfort the terminally ill and to the Wounded Warriors project as a special tribute to those who have been injured in war to protect our freedoms.  These expressions of God’s love and the prayers and love of this congregation are vital to those who need them the most.

For information or to join the group, call Donna Leach at the church.

Prayer Warrior Ministry

Prayer warriors meet once a week to pray over the needs of the church and the members.  They have a devotional and a time of sharing needs and concerns.  If you are interested in learning more, please contact Pat Kennedy at the church.
