Ralph Long is currently the Director of Worship at the Rincon United Methodist Church in Rincon, GA. He joined the staff in 2008 and enriches the worship service through song, directing and playing. Ralph works with the Handbell Choir, Chancel Choir and Journeymen of Praise. He has served the previous five years as pianist for the Effingham County United Methodist Campmeeting in Springfield, GA which has been in existence for over 200 years. He holds music degrees from East Carolina University, Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, University of Louisville, and Georgia Southern University. Ralph is married to his wonderful wife Janie and they have 2 children, Josiah & Julianna.
His favorite hymn is among many others,” Joyful, Joyful, We Adore Thee” by Henry Van Dyke, 1907, # 89 in the Methodist Hymnal.

D’Ve joined the staff in 2007. She enjoys working in the church office and helping those who “wander through” the office. She enjoys working in a Christian environment and the wonderful people she works with. D’Ve produces the Sunday bulletin, weekly announcements, monthly newsletter and the Faith Living, our seasonal publication which celebrated what the church is doing. D’Ve has a teaching background and a Master’s Degree in technology. D’Ve is married to Barrie and they live with chickens, a cat, and a dog.
One of her favorite quotes is: “Life is not about waiting for the rain to pass. It is about dancing in the rain.”
She also believes that if you look to God first, everything else will fall into place.
