Rincon United Methodist Church is a growing church with around 400 members. We have an active children’s ministry and youth ministry, which participate in several activities throughout the year and support local and global missions. Our family and older adult ministries participate in monthly and yearly activities. We have Sunday School at 10 am for all ages and worship at 11 am. We welcome all to our services and activities! Rincon United Methodist Church began in 1894 and was added to the Goshen-Clyo Charge. In 1896 a one room building with a small steeple was built. Then in 1918 the small church was struck by lightning and completely destroyed, but by 1918, a new church was built and dedicated. From 1934 to 1968 various building phases took place and in 1968 the current church building was built.
Having been blessed over the years, many dedicated and hardworking pastors and their families have served at Rincon UMC. As the county has grown, so has Rincon UMC with dedicated members and a giving church family!
